Our Achievements

Upgradation of Bagerhat District Hospital from 100 to 250 beds


Superintendent, Assistant Director, Senior Consultant (Gynaec), Consultant (ENT & Surgery) have been appointed for 250 beds with manpower and financial sanction.


19 new doctors and 20 technologists have been appointed


10 bedded ICU, 20 bedded Isolation Ward ready and 10 bedded Dialysis Ward under process


PCR Lab is in progress


A model mortuary is under construction


250 admitted patients are being provided with three meals a day


Proposals have been sent for the construction of buildings under the Government Five Year Plan for the construction of residential quarters for doctors, nurses and staff as per the 250 bed structure.


The old building is under renovation


The construction of conference room on the third floor of the old building is in progress. During this period, 3 ICU beds and Cell counter machine have been added to the pathology department with the personal funding of the MP.


Oxygen has been provided to corona patients through Oxygen Bank in all districts


Sample collection has been done by going door to door to identify corona patients
